LaFitte Writing Desk (Cypress)

This relaxed three drawer writing table was designed and finished to show how tasteful aging techniques can be combined with slow, deliberate hand waxing to achieve the value of antiquity and comfort of daily use. The top has rounded corners and a reeded edge. Hand applied, quarter round molding is used on the end and guest side panels. Round legs with reedings and ring turnings terminate in tapered feet.
