This oval cocktail table is a study in Councill's fine veneer work. A field of figured swirly mahogany is accented by a satinwood border with tulipwood inlay and satinwood centering oval inlay. The table is supported by an urn pedestal with four sweeping fluted legs with brass casters and hair paw toe caps.
